On Saturday 18 November three small British businesses will be advertised to a global audience for the first time, thanks to DHL.
To help British ecommerce businesses to grow internationally, DHL offered the unique opportunity to win free advertising at the King Power Stadium.
Safraz Ibrahim, Director at Shuperb, commented: “As a business we are proud of our Leicester roots, so seeing the Shuperb logo at the match tomorrow will be a special moment. We already ship thousands of shoes internationally from our facility in Humberstone, and we’re hoping the exposure DHL is giving us will boost our exports even further.”
Discussing the competition, Gregory said: “Leicester City have an outstanding following across the globe, so we are really proud to be able to offer these businesses the opportunity to reach that audience. We’re confident that the selected winners will appeal to our fan base and will benefit from this global exposure.”
Manchester City’s visit to King Power Stadium is the first of four Premier League fixtures in which the businesses will receive free advertising. With Pep Guardiola’s team currently topping the Premier League table, it’s no surprise that the clash will be televised around the world. Large audiences are expected across the Americas, mainland Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
Speaking ahead of the match Abi Brodie, DHL’s Vice President of Ecommerce, added: “DHL wants to help British ecommerce businesses to grow internationally and this partnership with Leicester City supports that. Artifacts, Shuperb and Versa Forma offer high quality British products that consumers love, whether they’re in Leicester or Los Angeles. Hopefully they will soon be exporting even more of their products around the world.”Back to news
